My Story
As a child with ADHD, I struggled to focus and believe in myself. The world felt overwhelming. But one unexpected teacher helped me—arcade games.
While others saw arcade games and the claw machine as distractions, I saw them as lessons. They taught me:
- Focus (you only get one shot—make it count)
- Patience (try again, adjust, improve)
- Confidence (celebrating the small wins built belief in myself)
Now, as a Dad with four kids – Savannah, Isabelle, Juliana, and Riley—I see the same patterns in them. I also see how today’s games can do more harm than good. That inspired me to reimagine arcade play as something better: purposeful, positive, and fun.
